MyanChat operates an AI-powered customer chat service for businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use MyanChat as a shop owner or when your customers interact with a MyanChat-powered chatbot.
Information We Collect
What data we handle
Facebook Page data — When a business connects their Facebook Page, we receive the Page ID and Page Access Token to enable the Messenger chatbot.
Customer messages — Messages sent through Facebook Messenger or Telegram are processed to generate AI replies. Message content is not stored permanently beyond what is needed for the active conversation session.
Order information — Customer name, phone number, and delivery address collected during the ordering process, as provided by the customer.
Account information — Business name and Facebook login credentials for the shop owner's admin account.
Usage data — Token and message counts per month used to enforce subscription limits.

Third-Party Services
Services we rely on
Meta (Facebook/Messenger) — Used for shop owner login and customer message delivery. Governed by Meta's own privacy policy.
Google Gemini AI — Customer messages are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate responses. Governed by Google's data processing terms.
Telegram — For shops using the Telegram channel integration.
Neon (PostgreSQL) — Cloud database used to store account and order data securely.
Data Retention
How long we keep data
Order and account data is retained while your account is active. Active AI conversation sessions are held in memory and expire after 4 hours of inactivity. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
